With over 25 years of experience in investment management, Dakroury had driven significant organizational growth through the development of multibillion-dollar transactions across Egypt, MENA, and East Africa. His expertise encompasses mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, project finance, due diligence, and roadshows. He had successfully served international and local firms across diverse industries, including Master Development, Real Estate, Energy, Healthcare/Pharmaceuticals, Education, Financing/Funding, and Blended Finance. Additionally, He had collaborated with esteemed organizations such as the IFC and the UN on pivotal economic development projects.
Hamdy serves as the General Legal Counsel at MIDAR for Urban Development, bringing 40 years of legal expertise to the role. His career includes 21 years at Zoheir Grana Law Firm, where he honed his legal acumen, and 6 years as Deputy Director of the General Legal Department at Talaat Mostafa Group. Hamdy's extensive experience in the legal field has made him a trusted advisor, guiding major legal strategies and ensuring compliance in complex real estate and urban development projects.
Ahmed Mostafa is a seasoned real estate professional with over 35 years of experience. His expertise spans the entire real estate lifecycle, from urban planning to project delivery. With a strong background in infrastructure, smart city development, telecommunications, and electricity distribution, Eng. Mostafa brings a comprehensive understanding of related disciplines. His strategic management, risk management, operations management, and tender/contract management skills have been instrumental in his successful career.
A seasoned real estate development leader with extensive experience across major projects. As Chief Development Officer at MIDAR, he manages a land bank of 11,000 Feddans. At Hyde Park, he oversees developments with a total investment of EGP 200 billion. At Emaar Misr, he directs a downtown portfolio with a 90 billion investment. Previously, he was a Senior Development Manager at Qatari Diar, where he led the City Gate project and managed crisis situations, including strategic planning and brand repositioning.

Ahmed Lotfy joined MIDAR as Chief Projects Officer, bringing 25 years of experience in real estate, construction project management, and engineering consultancy. He oversees the construction and delivery of MIDAR's projects and manages operations at Mostakbal City. Before MIDAR, Ahmed led Project Management at SODIC, where he successfully delivered numerous projects across Egypt. His background includes roles at Kleinfelder's Inc. USA, University of Nevada, Reno, and Orascom Construction Industries. A registered Professional Civil Engineer in California and Project Management Professional, he holds a MSc in Geotechnical Engineering and an MBA. Ahmed has been recognized with nominations for the Big 5 Egypt's impact awards in 2021 and 2023, and he won SODIC's innovation award in 2019. His expertise includes strategic planning, project management, and organizational change management.
Soha is a seasoned expert with over 25 years in marketing, communications, and PR, having held leadership roles across top international and local companies serving diverse industries. Her success lies in driving brand growth, crafting innovative communication strategies, and leading high-performing teams. Soha’s experience covers strategic marketing, brand development, customer acquisition and retention, digital marketing, event management, business development, PR, and CSR. As Co-chair of the American Chamber of Commerce’s marketing committee, she played a key role in shaping events that spotlighted industry trends and the future of marketing in Egypt.
With over 35 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Internal Auditing, Internal Control, GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance), Process Improvement, and Strategic Management, he has worked with leading national and international financial and non-financial institutions. His expertise spans commercial banks, investment firms, commodities, and real estate. He excels in establishing and structuring internal audit departments, improving processes, and developing talent. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and certifications in Compliance & Auditing and Internal Audit (CIA) – levels 1 & 2.
A highly experienced Architect and Design Director with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Currently serving as the Design Executive Director at Midar, she has consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership and design expertise throughout her career. Her tenure includes significant roles at International firms, including Emaar Misr, Turner Construction and GHD Group, where she led design initiatives for major projects and managed dynamic teams of around 60 professionals. Her career is highlighted by her strategic oversight of high-profile projects across Egypt, showcasing her expertise in project management, design leadership, and strategic planning.
Ezzat Donia, acting CCSO of MIDAR for investment and urban development, with over 29 years of experience in leading various mega projects with Diverse Cultures with different nationalities, nationally and internationally, in MENA and SSA. Has a diverse background in different industries (Oil and Gas & Building Materials) with extensive experience in Crises Management, and Supporting Functions (FM, HR, HSE, and SC) He developed a deep understanding of what’s possible by working in various business sectors and across multiple geographies and functions.
Experienced HR professional with a bachelor's in economics from Cairo University and a Human Resources Management Diploma from the American University in Cairo. Currently pursuing an MBA in HR. Serving as the HR Senior Director at MIDAR for Investment and Urban Development since 2015, overseeing HR operations, policy development, and strategic HR initiatives. Previously held significant HR roles at Gulf Publishing & Printing, El Sewedy Cables Group, Oriental Weavers Group, and Total International Expertise. Skilled in HR policy, recruitment, training, and employee development.
